Research Fellow (2022-2023)
University of Adelaide, Department of Earth Sciences
Member of the Tectonics & Earth Systems (TES) Group investigating the interplay between tectonics, climate, and resources during the upper crustal thermal evolution of Gondwana in response to continental breakup over the last 200 million years.
Platform Architecture Advisor (2019-present)
AuScope Geochemistry Network
A leading member of the AuScope Geochemistry Network, an Australian consortium of Earth Science Institutes cooperating to develop national geochemistry infrastructure. Their flagship project is the development of AusGeochem, a FAIR data platform enabling researchers to solve geoscience challenges through geospatial interrogation of geochemistry Big Data.
Postdoctoral Researcher (2018-2019)
Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz, Institute of Geosciences, Germany
Applying isotope geochemistry to constrain the interrelationships of Archean basement terranes from East Africa, Madagascar and India prior to and during the amalgamation of the Gondwana supercontinent.
Graduate (PhD) Researcher (2014-2018)
The University of Melbourne, School of Earth Sciences
Investigated rift inception and propagation processes in East Africa through integration of field observation, structural geology, fission track, (U-Th)/He, EPMA geochemistry and thermal history modelling techniques.
Researcher (2014-2015)
Iolite Software, Australia
Tested product and wrote user manual for the laser ablation ICP-MS data reduction software, Iolite V3.
Graduate (MSc) Researcher (2012-2013)
The University of Melbourne, School of Earth Sciences
Investigated the thermal signature of an ancient Cretaceous aquifer system in central Australia using low-temperature thermochronology.
Research Assistant (2011)
University of Bremen, Department of Geosciences, Germany
Aided Simon Elfert, under the direction of Prof. Cornelia Spiegel, in apatite (U-Th-Sm)/He dating and designing an exhumation simulation for the Lepontine Dome, southwestern Alps, using the Pecube finite-element code.
